I haven’t been in much of a mood to write of recent (which for me is unusual). Perhaps it’s because I just felt as though I needed to take a break; that and I’ve been rather busy with other matters in my life such as sorting through years of accumulations, trying to do some serious [albeit late] Spring cleaning.
However, I did want to take a moment to share this with all who take the time to read my blog.
I’ve a cousin; she is the second oldest grandchild on my paternal grandmother’s side of the family (I am the oldest). While we sometimes disagree (who doesn’t?) we love one another. Tonya has been through a lot during her life; I suppose it is true that we all carry our share of trials and tribulations — but Tonya has probably had a bit more than “her share.”
So too has young Preston, my cousin’s youngest child. Please watch the newscast embedded within this entry and read about this charming young man here. I don’t believe you will be disappointed and perhaps it is just me being a bit sentimental but I’m proud of both, Preston and Tonya for weathering the storms they have endured and as well for reaching out to help other children in need.
Love, Michael

Why am I not surprised that your family has produced more than one wonderful guy? What a story!
